The idea
BurgasHub is not a directory and not a social network. It is the shared home of several digital products made specifically for Burgas.
The idea started from something simple: most large platforms do not know Burgas. They work the same way for every city, which is why they rarely match how the city actually lives — when the centre is busy, when the sea is at its best, which neighbourhoods sit next to each other, and what people look for in different seasons.
So instead of one big site trying to do everything at once, we build separate products, each dealing with one specific part of everyday life. That way each one can be genuinely good at its own job — and BurgasHub is the place that connects them and explains how they fit together.
All of these parts overlap in real life. A weekend can start with meeting someone, continue with an event downtown and end with flowers for somebody. Online, those things are usually scattered. BurgasHub arranges them around one city.
The ecosystem is designed to grow. Today it holds five products, but the point is not the number — it is the coverage. The more of life in Burgas that is well served digitally, the more useful the whole project becomes for the people who live here.
The city
Burgas is big enough for things to happen and compact enough that you keep running into people you know. Much of life here happens outdoors — on the alleys, in the centre and along the sea.
The Sea Garden is the backbone of Burgas. It runs along the whole centre, links the Bridge with the Sea Station and remains the most used shared space in the city all year round — runners and prams in the morning, people simply walking in the evening. The beach starts right below the alleys and the centre is a few minutes away on foot.
Lazur and Vazrazhdane are closest to the sea and the centre, Izgrev and Zornitsa are calmer and residential, Meden Rudnik is the largest neighbourhood with a rhythm of its own, while Sarafovo and Kraymorie feel like a small seaside place minutes from the city. Most of everyday life is settled within the neighbourhood.
In summer Burgas is loud and full — the beaches are working, the centre is alive late and weekends disappear fast. Autumn is the quiet advantage of locals: September and October are the nicest time by the Black Sea. In winter the city shrinks and turns local, and in spring the Sea Garden wakes up first.
